Hong Kong
It's our first time to travel outside the country but it's Nanay's second home. Hong Kong had been Nanay's home for 8 years, so she was here to be our tour guide, hehehe =)
waiting for Bus Number A21 going to our guest house in Tsim Sha Tsui... Bus fare HK$33 for adults and HK$16.50 for kids
Cosmic Guest House in Nathan Road, Mirador Mansion is the 13th bus stop from the airport
Before going to places, you have to change your currency to Hong Kong Dollars. Exchange rates at the airport was so low, if you did'nt bring any Hong Kong Dollar with you, exchange only a few for bus fare. The best exchange rate I found was at :
WING HOI MONEY EXCHANGE CO.,
Shop 9B, Ground Floor,
Mirador Mansion, Hong Kong
Ph 2723-5948
meals ranges from HK$28- 32
It's our first day in Hong Kong, a little tired from the plane trip so we really took a nap... After getting some energy we have to waste no time, so we started walking going to Victoria Harbour...
Oh my abs!!!
Hong
Kong is a place with multiple personalities, as a result of being both
Cantonese Chinese and under a more recent contemporary ex-British
influence. Today, the former British colony is a major tourism
destination for China's increasingly affluent mainland population. It
is also an important hub in East Asia with global connections to many of
the world's cities. It is a unique destination that has absorbed
people and cultural influences from places as diverse as Vietnam and
Vancouver and proudly proclaims itself to be Asia's World City.

Purchase an Octopus Card, it is a must for tourists. What's good about the Octopus card is that you can refund what has not been used upon leaving Hong Kong, we refunded at Hong airport. The use of Octopus Card is also discounted instead of single journey tickets. For example, the adult fare for a single journey from Chai Wan to Tung Chung is HK$23.50, with Octopus Card it is only HK$20.70. Other public transport operators also offer intermittent discounts for using Octopus cards on higher fares and roundtrip transits on selected routes.

The best thing about our travel in Hong Kong is that we met our first cousins Mae and Shien for the first time... It seems that we knew each other for so long. Our cousins Vincent and wife Cristina also visited us at the guesthouse. Hope to see you again guyz!!!
