Cagayan de Oro : White Water Rafting
If you are looking for a different adventure, you really have to try White Water Rafting in Cagayan de Oro. We booked at KAGAY WHITE WATER RAFTING. We were picked up at the hotel by 5:30am on a Tuesday morning, takot kami maiwan ng plane. We have to be at the airport by 12 noon. If CDO is just a sidetrip to Camiguin, next time ito na talaga ang destinasyon nyo. You can be picked up at the airport right after arriving. Book in advance kasi marami rin ang nagwa water rafting during weekends. No need to bring your cameras, they have an official photographer to document your rafting experience, just purchase the CD at Php350.

1. Beginners Course Php700/head
- (3 hours actual river run) 14 rapids
- Class I-II minimum of 6 pax
2. Advance Course Php 1,000/head
- (4 hours actual river run) 24 rapids
- Class II-IV minimum of 6 pax
3. Experts I Course Php 1,200/head
- (2 hours actual river run) 14 rapids
- Class III minimum of 6 pax

- Jeepney transfer from City Tourism Showhaus, DV-Soria or at your own hotel within the city proper to put-in

Is rafting dangerous ?
Rafting is thrilling, exciting, wet, wild and unbelievably fun! However, as with all adventure sports, there is inherent risk involved. That risk contributes to the excitement, and is one of the reasons people enjoy rafting so much! Kagay's guides are trained to minimize and manage risks, and statistically, you're safer in a raft than in your car. Their experienced river guides and staff are well-trained, well-informed and consentious individuals who place your safety above everything else. All guides are screened and trained by the International Rafting Federation (IRF) for Safety and Standards in river techniques and are First Aid and CPR-certified by the Philippine National Red Cross.
Guests are required to read and sign an Acknowledgement of Risks and Release form before registering and participating in the trips, so that you go rafting with the understanding that you are aware of and agree to accept the responsibility for all the risks.
