Universal Studios Singapore : Waterworld

Waterworld : A Live Sea War Spectacular!

I made a separate blog on this because this is one great show in Universal Studios that I really really enjoyed!  Waterworld is a special live water show in Universal Studios.  A show with the most complex combination of stunts, jet skis, gun shots, explosions,  flames, pyrotechnics,  and a seaplane in front of us! It is also filled with humour.

The show was based on a 1995 American post-apocalyptic science fiction film starring Kevin Costner and directed by Kevin Reynolds.

There are 3 shows everyday, their schedules are 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.  Make sure to include this on your list when you visit Universal Studios...truly worth watching!

We preferred to get seats not so near the "Soak Zones" because we don't want to get wet as the casts are splashing water to the audience... Its a lot of fun to sit in that area coz even if you get wet, the hot temperature at Universal Studios will get you dried up in just minutes. It doesn't mean that if you don't sit at the "Soak Zones" you will be dry during the show, I was caught with water and my non-waterproofed camera... Good thing my SLR camera is still functioning, hehe!!! Maybe for those planning to go here should bring extra clothes and a waterproof cam and sit to their very fun and exciting area.

just one scene but full of thrilling actions

Waterworld is filled with death-defying stunts....Oh no! he's upside down and he's going to be thrown into the water.  Excitement to the highest level!

  1. I wonder if this is the same Waterworld show that Universal Studio Los Angeles I'd been to more than 3 years ago. The seaplane that touches the edge of the fence in front of the audience was not part of the show they had in Los Angeles. Neither I am not pretty sure if the show is still part of their daily tour of the studio. Great pictures Bantog bacpackers! - Cholits Bantog

  2. Good day Cholits and thank u so much for appreciating my blog =). As I've read in some blogs there is also a seaplane (skyboat) in Waterworld at Universal Studios Hollywood. It was the best attraction for me in Universal Studios, the effects, stunts and everything was all amazing!!! Two thumbs up!!! I hope you'll still visit our site for more blogs...We've been traveling as a family for 7 years already but it is only now that i braved myself in blogging... I guess it's just a little way of showing my children how much i love them. And when i'm gone all they have to do is to click the mouse and then they'll remember all the happy memories we had =)
