Our third visit to Anawangin

My family loves the beach a lot...and everytime our feet is craving for beach sands, the nearest place to go is Anawangin Cove in Pundaquit, San Antonio, Zambales.
We are from Bataan and we can be here in just 2 hours by taking 2 buses (Balanga-Olongapo and Olongapo-San Antonio) and a tricycle ride.  If you'll be coming from Manila, just go to Victory Liner terminal in Cubao, the ones going to Sta. Cruz or Iba, Zambales can take you here in just 4 hours bus ride.  Jump off at the town of San Antonio and flag a tricycle going to Bry. Pundaquit at Php100.   Contact Mang Vic (09297170739) first to check the situation if it's safe to cross the sea especially during rainy seasons.

It's our third time in Anawangin but my kids are always excited to see this place, except that sleepy kid =)

 Here we come Anawangin...

My baby touched the sands of Anawangin once again...and I think this time he's excited

There are 3 to 4 camps in Anawangin and it depends on your contacts which camp they will take you.  We usually go to Editha's Camp.  Entrance Fee for overnight stay is Php100, Day Tour is Php50.  If you were not able to bring a tent, you can rent them for a fee.  And if you want to rent a kubo, it's Php200 when we came here in October of 2012.  And in March 2013, it went up to Php1,500...so just bring a tent to save on costs =)
