Ogie Beach Pension House is perfectly located beachfront, situated at the town center, very near restaurants, grocery stores, bakery, church, municipal hall and souvenir shops.

Pamela Pension House in Dumaguete
While we were in Dumaguete, we stayed at Pamela's Pension House located at Brgy. Tubod. From Sibulan Airport, we just flagged a trike going to Tubod and paid Php15/person.

The most popular place for backpackers is the Harold Mansion, near Pamela's Pension House. It's exact location is at 205 Hibbard Avenue, Dumaguete City. Mobile Nos. 0921-6533699 and 0917-3024455. They are offering tour packages such as Dumaguete-Siquijor-Apo-Dauin tour for 3 days and 2 nights inclusive of room accommodations. The package is worth Php10,000 and includes 8 dives with full board, lunch and dinner, mineral water, coffee and tea all day; inclusive of gears, tanks, dive master, boat and transfers (night dives are optional). The package must be in a minimum of 5 guests and maximum of 5 guests.
They are also offering trekking tours at Php800/person for Twin Lakes and Casaroro Falls. Php500/person - Twin Lakes only, Php300/person - Casaroro Falls, Php600/4pax - Mount Talinis.

Boac Marinduque Accommodation : Tahanan sa Isok
Tahanan sa Isok become so filled up during Moriones Festival and we are still lucky because we have been able to book for at least two nights at their very affordable rate of Php800 (April 2012 rate) plus Php100 for an extra bed but as of today that room we once occupied was at Php1000 with free breakfast good for 2 persons only. They also have bigger rooms good for four persons at rates Php2200, Php2000 and Php1800 with breakfast for 4 persons.
Marinduque is dubbed as the Lenten Hub of the Philippines. During these seasons traveling to Marinduque become so difficult, buses going to Lucena, Quezon, roro to Marinduque and the hotels are all fully booked. I suggest you book so early because the rooms are already filled up for the lenten season as early as August.

Tahanan sa Isok has 15 simple air conditioned rooms, with private bathrooms (w/ hot and cold shower) and a cable television.
The location of Tahanan sa Isok is so near the city proper, just walking distance from the festivities and other celebrations related to Holy week as well as Boac Cathedral and town museum or you can take a tryk at Php10 fare.
Receiving Area
Because of the very humid weather at Marinduque, staying at Tahanan sa Isok will give you some comfort. The mini hotel has a garden and a swimming pool which my kids enjoyed.

Singapore Cheap Accommodation : 5 footway.inn Bugis
5 footway.inn Bugis is exactly located at 10 Aliwal St., Singapore. It is just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the nearest MRT Station Nicoll Highway. And the buses are just around the corner. There are also a number of food stalls and restaurants around the area. The location is great as we just walked for 15 minutes in going to Bugis Village where you can buy the cheapest souvenirs, shirts, food and everything.
We stayed here for 3 nights at room rates SG$112 (Php 3,685) for weekdays and SG$128 (Php 4,200) for weekends. The room is already good for four people, but since there are six of us, (baby James was free of charge) we just added SG$26 (Php 855) for an additional person. And I think this is a great deal since the breakfast is already included, you can eat as long as you're hungry, but don't take advantage too much, hehe... I saw someone got all the fruits from the kitchen, bad huh! I just love their unlimited coffee and milo available 24/7.
The place is so cozy, clean and neat. The wifi connection here is excellent! And there are two desktops at the reception area if you really need to use one.
The staffs are all amazing! They were always polite and smiling, willing to assists you in any way they can.
The mattress are all comfortable and smells so clean and fresh. The aircon was great!
The only thing which others may not appreciate is the shared bathrooms. But one day we went there on a daytime, I saw the housekeeping staffs doing their jobs, and when it's newly cleaned, the bathrooms are okay for me... It's just the users of the facilities that should be responsible for making it clean for a day.
I highly recommend this hostel for backpackers on a budget.

Kuala Lumpur Accommodation : Raizzy's Guesthouse
Raizzy's Guesthouse is exactly located at 165 G. Jalan Tun H.S Lee, Kuala Lumpur. We booked 3 months in advance and we got the room for RM123/night (Php1,661) good for all of us. The room rates for 2 persons are RM65 and RM75.
The nearest MRT station from the guesthouse is Pasar Seni Station. From KL Central, it is just one station away, MRT fare RM1.

If you're on a budget but still want to stay on a descent guesthouse, stay at Raizzy's. Cheap AC rooms at RM123 good for 4 persons. The rooms are spacious and very clean with simple breakfast included. Near everything... Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Chinatown, Central Market, KL City Gallery. It is also just a minute away from the nearest MRT station.
The wifi access here is excellent. They also have a desktop free of charge.
