Singapore : Marina Bay Day and Night
Marina Bay is a 24/7 destination. You can go here either by day or night. My kids were so tired the whole day in visiting Sentosa. They were already sleeping when I asked them to wake up because our day is not yet ended. I really pushed them to go to Marina Bay at night because there's a free light show during 8pm and 9:30pm every Sunday to Thursday and an additional show at 11pm during Fridays and Saturdays.
If you're taking a train, the nearest stations to Marina Bay are Bayfront Avenue, Marina Bay or Premonade Stations . Another way is to ride a bus (03511 or 03519), the drop off point is along the Bayfront Avenue.

The next day, we went back to Marina Bay because we're about to go back to Malaysia on that day but still we haven't seen yet the real Merlion of Singapore. When we went to Marina Bay during night time we did'nt know that we just need to walk more to see the real merlion. A Merlion is a creature with lion's head and the fish' body. It is the tourism icon of Singapore.

Merlion measures 8.60 meters high and weighs 40 tonnes. We've seen the 37 meters Merlion Replica at Sentosa. The second one is the two-meter merlion near the original merlion. The third one is the one behind these kids at Merlion Park. The forth one is the three meters glazed polymarble statue at Tourism court. And the fifth and last merlion is also 3 meters in height placed on Mount Faber's Point.

Merlion's original location is at the Esplanade bridge but was shifted to this location in 2002. It is now adjacent to One Fullerton Hotel.

If your going to Merlion Park, the easiest way is to ride a bus in going to One Fullerton. Another option is to go to Raffles Place MRT Station and walk along the riverfront. Or much better to go to Clarke Quay and then take a boat ride and go down to Merlion Park. It is worth visiting the Merlion Park because it is the monument that represents the city of Singapore.

Legoland Malaysia
The first International Theme Park in Malaysia was finally opened on September 15, 2012. It is the first Legoland in Asia and sixth in the world after Denmark, Britain, California, Florida and Germany. Legoland is exactly situated at Nusujaya, Iskandar Malaysia Economic Region in Johor Bahru.
For those coming from Kuala Lumpur, go to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) first, and travel for around 4 to 5 hours from TBS to Larkin Station in Johor Bahru for RM31 bus fare. From Larkin Bus Station take the Causeway Link buses going to Legoland at RM2.10 for adults and RM1.40 for kids.
If you'll be coming from Singapore, go to Jurong Bus Interchange or Boon Lay Bus Interchange. From Jurong Bus Interchange, take CW3/CW3S/CW4/CW4S buses. From Boon Lay take CW6. Have your passports stamped at Singapore Customs and then to Malaysian Customs. Take the JPO2 bus or any Causeway Link Buses which are going to Legoland.

The weather here is scorching hot! The temperature can reach up to 42 degress celsius. Bring umbrella and hats and also extra shirts for your kids. I think the RM140 is so expensive as the other attractions, most especially their 4D rides, are closed on our visit. We came here by 2pm and were finished by 5:30pm. Maybe you have to wait first in the opening of their Water Theme Park in 2013 so your entrance fee will be worth it! The buses going back to Larkin Bus Terminal are few or I must say nothing at all. We went back to Larkin by riding a taxi at RM50 good for all of us. So expensive coz we went here by just spending RM2.10 for adults and RM1.40 for kids from Larkin.
My kids had a lot of fun though the entrance fee is a bit expensive =)
The Lego-themed hotel will be open in 2014.

Kuala Lumpur : Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS)
Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) in Malay language means "Southbound Integrated Terminal". TBS is located 10 kilometers south of Kuala Lumpur. It is exactly located at Jalan Terminal Selatan, 57100 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.
We are in a hurry so we took a taxi from KL Sentral to TBS (taxi fare RM20). But when we got here the second time, we took the LRT (Bandar Tasik Selatan Station) at TBS in going to KL Sentral. We paid only RM1 per person.

This modern airport-like bus terminal is the latest integrated transport terminal in Bandar Tasik Selatan. It opened in January 2011. It has a direct connection to LRT, KLIA Transit and Komuter Train. If you plan to tour Singapore or you want to bring your kids to Legoland in Johor Bahru (which is 4 to 5 hours travel from TBS), you need to get here to reach the southern part of Malaysia.

There are convenience stores, pharmacy, some shops and fastfood chains like KFC and Kenny Roggers. Most of the fastfood chains are located at the 4th floor.
Terminal Bersepadu Selatan Terminal in Bandar Tasik Selatan is Kuala Lumpur's gateway to the south. It serves south Malaysia bound buses like Johor Bahru, Melaka and Singapore.

My impressions about TBS... clean, comfortable, convenient and so complete...I hope bus stations or even the airports in the provinces of my country will be like this. Truly a state-of-the-art bus terminal station. Amazing talaga!

Kuala Lumpur Accommodation : Raizzy's Guesthouse
Raizzy's Guesthouse is exactly located at 165 G. Jalan Tun H.S Lee, Kuala Lumpur. We booked 3 months in advance and we got the room for RM123/night (Php1,661) good for all of us. The room rates for 2 persons are RM65 and RM75.
The nearest MRT station from the guesthouse is Pasar Seni Station. From KL Central, it is just one station away, MRT fare RM1.

If you're on a budget but still want to stay on a descent guesthouse, stay at Raizzy's. Cheap AC rooms at RM123 good for 4 persons. The rooms are spacious and very clean with simple breakfast included. Near everything... Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Chinatown, Central Market, KL City Gallery. It is also just a minute away from the nearest MRT station.
The wifi access here is excellent. They also have a desktop free of charge.
